Honest words only
- Removed a quote about Sam's daughter that was never true, along with two made-up parent reviews. The homepage now tells the real story: one night stuck on RESPECT before phonics class, and the next morning it clicked.
- The dyslexia guide now says right at the top that if spelling still isn't budging, it's worth asking the school about an assessment. We're a memory aid for the weekly list, never a replacement for proper help.
- Rewrote what we say about data so it matches exactly what we do: no account, no cookies, your saved stories stay on your own device.

New guides reach you again
- The daily guides were quietly being published to our old address, so some never appeared on the site at all. Fixed, and now checked automatically.

Type a word without scrolling
- The front page was rebuilt around the word box, so on a phone or a laptop you can start typing straight away.
- Removed a large empty gap that had been pushing everything down the screen on smaller phones.

A whole new look
- The site has been redesigned end to end: calm cream and green, a friendly elephant, and proper menus on every page.
- The tool, the word pages, the spelling lists and the leaderboard all match now, instead of feeling like three different products.

All 289 word pages rewritten
- Every word page now opens with a straight answer, then explains why that word in particular is hard, the misspellings children actually write, a 5-minute routine for tonight, and other words with the same trap.
- About four times longer than before — and genuinely written per word, not the same advice repeated 289 times.

Stories, leaderboard and sharing all working again
- After the site moved house, the AI story writer, the whole leaderboard, sharing a story and the feedback form had quietly stopped working. Stories still appeared, so nothing looked broken — they were just coming from the simpler backup writer.
- All fixed, and now tested automatically every time we change anything, so it can't happen again unnoticed.

Back online after five days down
- From 2 to 7 August the site was unreachable — our hosting ran out of its monthly allowance and we did not catch it fast enough. Sorry if you tried to use it in that window.
- It's now on a new home that can't fail the same way, and anything you'd bookmarked or shared still opens the right page.

A proper welcome page
- Typing the address used to drop you straight onto the bare tool with no explanation. There's now a home page that says what this is and who it's for, with the tool one tap away.

Stories that actually connect
- Some stories jumped from one picture to the next without linking them — which is exactly what makes a story impossible to remember.
- Every story is now checked that each picture hands over to the next before we keep it, and the whole old batch was thrown out and rewritten.

Story videos on YouTube too
- The animated story videos — one silly picture per letter, with a friendly voice reading along — now go up on YouTube as well as Instagram.

Honest wording, and signposts to the rest
- The level pages used to say MOE-aligned, which claimed too much. They're practice lists informed by the Singapore primary syllabus, not a copy of any school's official list — and they now say so.
- The homepage now links to the spelling list, the lists by level and the blog, which it never did before.

A daily streak badge
- Come back and make a story on consecutive days and a little streak appears next to your saved stories, with a nudge to come back tomorrow. Nothing to sign up for — it stays on your own phone.

- A parent typed EURASIANS and landed on a missing page. Words people type or share now get a page built for them automatically, and a regular sweep catches any we missed.

- Short, practical guides on what parents actually ask: why flashcards don't stick, the P2-to-P3 jump, silent letters, there / their / they're, how many words a week is enough, and making spelling fun instead of a fight.

- Stories are now one connected, over-the-top tale with cause and effect and a goofy finish, rather than a list of unrelated sentences.
- Cut the stiff AI phrasing and the little morals at the end, keeping the silly and the vivid.

- See what other families wrote for the same word, like or repost the ones you love, and a Top Words board shows which words everyone is working on.

- Grew from 60 pages to 275, covering the words children actually get wrong at night — silent letters, tricky endings, homophones, days and months.

One hero carries the whole story
- Stories used to read as eight disconnected sentences with a new character every line, which a child can't hold on to. The first thing is now the hero and carries the story through, introducing each new picture through what it does.
- Common words now appear in well under a second, because we write them ahead of time.

A real picture on every letter
- Unusual items (ant, acorn, narwhal) were falling back to a plain star. Every letter now shows its own picture.
- "New Story" gives you a genuinely different story instead of repeating the same one, and sharing to the leaderboard now shows your story straight away instead of seeming to vanish.

- Rewrote how stories are written: short sentences, no big words, one silly picture per letter — so your child actually remembers them.
- Real pictures (animals, fruit, objects) now show inside every story card.
- New: animated story videos with a friendly voice reading along — great for TikTok/Reels.
