More than spelling.

Build confident, creative learners.

Turn spelling words into funny stories kids can see, remember, and make their own.

Where this came from

One night my daughter was stuck on RESPECT for phonics class, and we were both worn out. The next morning I tried it as a story instead. She went “R… E… S… P… E… C… T! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!” and jumped up cheering. That is the whole reason this exists.

Used this with your child?
The tool is new and this is the only honest quote we have so far. If it worked at your kitchen table, tell us and we will put your words here instead of ours.

This isn’t really about spelling

Before

Same word. Fifth time. Tenth time. They still can’t spell it, and you can feel your patience running out. They start thinking “I’m just not good at this.” You start feeling like the parent you didn’t want to be.

After

A robot rides an elephant, a squirrel eats pizza, an egg, a cow, a tree, and RESPECT just clicks. A few tries later, they spell it without flinching. “Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!” They feel smart. You feel like you finally found the thing that works.

That’s not a spelling win. That’s a confidence win.

Comic: a tired dad and his daughter drilling the word RESPECT at night, then the next morning she spells it easily after hearing the story: a robot riding an elephant, a squirrel eating pizza, an egg, a cow, a tree.

“R… E… S… P… E… C… T! So easy, easy peasy, lemon squeezy!”

Frequently asked questions

What age is this for?

Designed for ages 5 to 8 (Singapore Primary 1 and Primary 2). Younger kids can use it with parent help. Older kids who need spelling support can type in their own words.

Does it work on phone and tablet?

Yes. It’s built mobile-first and works on any smartphone, tablet, or computer browser. No app store download needed.

How is this different from other spelling apps?

Most spelling tools just show a word and ask kids to type it, which is boring and doesn’t stick. We turn every word into a mnemonic story: each letter becomes a memorable item, chained into one silly narrative that’s easy to picture and recall weeks later.

Does it collect any data?

No account, no sign-up, and no cookies. Two things are stored in your browser: the stories you choose to save, so they are still there next time, and a random id plus basic usage counts so we can tell how many people use the tool. That id is not linked to a name or an email, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. Your child never enters any personal details, because the tool only ever asks for a spelling word. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
